The London Hunt and Country Club is a family focused Club providing its Members with an exceptional golf course complemented by first class dining facilities. To enhance the enjoyment of Members, the Club includes such programs as hunt, tennis, trap and skeet, fitness and social activities.
The London Hunt and Country Club has a strong family foundation built on traditions. It is a community of like minded people who have chosen to come together to call this place their Club.
We strive to meet the needs of every Member, whatever their interest may be. In doing so, we offer a variety of activities, social events, dining opportunities and much more for all Members, young and old.
Whether you have been golfing your entire life, or have just begun to appreciate the game, London Hunt and Country Club offers a Membership option that suits you. Our challenging course and friendly professional staff ensures our Members will enjoy bringing guests out for a drink or to perfect their game.
Steps for Membership
- Process of Membership is through a Proposer and Seconder and both must be current Members of the Club, for a minimum of one year and must be Shareholder Members.
- The Proposer and Seconder must each send a letter of support containing information concerning the nominee’s business and social affiliations and any additional information that may apply.
- A detailed resume from the proposed new Member and spouse (professionally active), which should include a complete business background, education, personal interest/activities, family interests/activities, civic, and/or community involvement, other clubs to which he/she may be a Member etc. must be submitted along with the application. Email is sufficient for submission.
- The package will then be reviewed by the Club’s Vetting committee.
- If the proposed new Member is not already known by five Directors of the Club, the Club will arrange a “Meet and Greet” to introduce the proposed new Member to the Board of Directors.
- Final approval is endorsed by the Board at their monthly meeting.
Note: ages are defined as the calendar year in which you obtain that age.
Members who are married upon joining, marry later, or cohabitate are required to introduce their spouses as Members of the Club. Spouses follow the main Member category.
A full unrestricted Member of the Club who has either paid an entrance fee in full, or currently paying an entrance fee. All persons joining age 35 and over must be in this category. Persons joining between the ages of 25 and 34 have the option of either this or the Intermediate category. It entitles full participation in all clubhouse, golf, tennis, trap, and fitness activities.
Intermediate, Resident Non-Shareholder B
An unrestricted Member aged 25-34 who has either paid an entrance fee in full, or is currently paying an entrance fee. It entitles full participation in all clubhouse, golf, tennis, trap, and fitness activities.
Intermediate, Resident Non-Shareholder C
An unrestricted Member aged 30-34 who has either paid an entrance fee in full, or is currently paying an entrance fee. It entitles full participation in all clubhouse, golf, tennis, trap, and fitness activities.
Intermediate, Resident Non-Shareholder F, Limited Golfer
A Member aged 25-34 who has either paid an entrance fee in full, or is currently paying an entrance fee. It entitles full participation in all clubhouse, tennis, trap, and fitness activities. Golf is limited to 6 rounds per year.
A restricted Member who has either a place of residence or business minimum 160 kilometers (direct driving distance) from the Clubhouse. Entrance fees may be paid in full or are currently paying an entrance fee. Non-Resident Members are permitted to golf 12 times per year for up to 30 calendar days.
A restricted Member who is between the ages of 10 and 18. Children under 10 are exempt from Membership fees but must be on the Membership roster.
Prior Members who have declined to continue their Membership at the age of 25 may reapply for Legacy Membership and still receive the benefits of full Membership. In order too qualify for Legacy Membership, a parent or grandparent must still be an active Member of the Club.
Other Membership Opportunities
Memberships are available to companies located in London, ON with internationally listed stocks, a subsidiary of such corporation or privately held corporation whose designate is not a principal owner. Please contact the General Manager for more information. It entitles full participation in all clubhouse, golf, tennis, trap, and fitness activities.
Associate Membership at the Club is through one of the following categories; Tennis Associate or Trap Associate. Spouses and children aged 12 and over may also join. Associate memberships are seasonal and renewable each year. It entitles full participate in either the Tennis programs or Trap programs but not both. Clubhouse participation is restricted.
